EFCC grilled Mr. Jibrin for 7 hours yesterday

The former Chairman House Committee on Appropriation, Mr. Abdulmumuni Jibrin, was yesterday grilled for seven (7) hours by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the 2016 budget padding crisis.

Mr. Jibrin who accused the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara and other leadership of the House was the first to be probed. He arrive the EFCC office at about 10:00am and left around 5:00pm.
According to reports, EFCC asked Jibrin to authenticate his accusations against the leadership of the House. He was also question on a petition written against him by the youth over a N418 million loot through a fake contracts from the National Refugees Commission.
The EFCC said that they are ready to get to the root of the alleged padding and make sure they bring offenders to book.
